On the 31st of July at the Bridgeley Community Centre, Diabetes WA will be hosting a community education program in Northam called ‘Living Well’. The purpose of this program is to showcase the latest information on diabetes and to connect community members with local health services and wellbeing initiatives. Diabetes WA will also be working with the Wheatbelt Health Network to deliver this event. Diabetes WA works to educate, inform, support and advocate on behalf of the thousands of West Australians living with diabetes. Today we are the state’s peak body for people living with diabetes. Through the National Diabetes Service Scheme (NDSS), Diabetes WA are funded to deliver FREE community education to anyone who is registered living with diabetes who is registered with the NDSS (and a support person).
