Abandoned Trolleys

Published on Friday, 18 February 2022 at 4:28:01 PM

Abandoned shopping trolleys are becoming a regular sight around town, and our Shire Rangers are working hard to tackle this and help the trolleys find their way back to where they belong.
The Shire of Northam encourages residents to report all trolley sightings direct to their respective collection service.

Woolworths or IGA (Wundowie)
Residents are encouraged to report the sighting direct to Trolley Tracker. Trolley Tracker can be contacted by phone on 1800 641 497 (7 days, 8am-6pm AEST), via the ‘Report a Trolley’ page on their website or through the Trolley Tracker App, available from Google Play and the App Store. Each report lodged in Western Australia via Trolley Tracker goes into a prize draw to win $1,000 each month.

Coles, Kmart, or Bunnings
Residents are encouraged to report the sighting direct to Coles. The Coles abandoned trolley department can be contacted by phone on 1800 TROLLEY (1800 876 553), via the ‘Abandoned Trolley’ page on their website or through the Coles App, available from Google Play and the App Store.

To proactively assist in addressing this ongoing issue, the Shire of Northam Rangers Services routinely report abandoned trolleys and liaise with outlets as required.
