LOCAL PLANNING SCHEME AMENDMENT AVAILABLE FOR INSPECTION – STANDARD AMENDMENT

SHIRE OF NORTHAM LOCAL PLANNING SCHEME NO. 6 – SCHEME AMENDMENT NO. 20

Notice is hereby given for public information and comment that the Shire of Northam has received an application to amend the Shire of Northam Local Planning Scheme No. 6 for the purpose of:

Reclassifying part Lot 600 on Deposited Plan 427356 (known as 185 Wellington Street West, Northam) from “Public Purposes – Church” to “Residential” zone R30 and to include ‘tourist accommodation’ as an additional use.

Plans and documents setting out and explaining the scheme amendment have been published in the following manner:

  • A copy of the plans and documents are available as attachments on this consultation.
  • A hard copy is also available for inspection at the Shire’s Administration Office, 395 Fitzgerald Street East, Northam, during business hours.

Submissions on the planning scheme amendment may be lodged in writing and should include the amendment number, the name and address of the person making the submission, the property affected and details of the submission and lodged with the undersigned on or before close of business on Monday 24th March 2025. Please quote the following reference number: 3.1.10.20 / SA20-6.
