The Shire of Northam will be in the PROHIBITED BURNING PERIOD from December 1 2024. All burning is strictly prohibited during this time and all signs of smoke/fire should be reported to 000 immediately.

The Shire of Northam wishes to advise that the Prohibited Burning Season has been extended to 00:01 on 15th March 2025, with further extensions dependent on seasonal conditions.

This will be reviewed and the community advised of any updates. We thank you for your patience and understanding.
