Proposed Disposal of Land pursuant to the Local Government Act 1995 section 3.58(3)

The Shire of Northam gives notice of its intent to dispose of Hangar site 33 at the Northam Airfield by lease in accordance with the Local Government Act 1995 s.3.58(3).
The site size is 457.2m2 for private use, and is being disposed for $5.50 per square metre, per annum.
These fees are consistent with the rental rate set by Council on 20 July 2022.
The current lease expires on the 30 June 2024 and is set to be renewed by the current lease holder, Peter David Clements, for a period of 5 years with an optional 5 year term.
Council is requesting feedback related to the disposition.
Submissions should be marked “Disposal of Hangar Site 33 - Shire of Northam Airfield” and addressed to the Chief Executive Officer, Shire of Northam, PO Box 613, Northam, WA 6401 or emailed to [email protected].
Written submissions in relation to the proposed disposal must be lodged before 4.00pm, Thursday 27 June 2024.
