With the adoption of 2023/2024 Budget, you may notice there are changes to your Waste Management Fees.
If you receive a standard kerbside collection service, you will be charged an annual general waste and recycling collection fee (as per usual) which includes your Waste Facility Pass.
If you reside outside the kerbside collection area, you will now be charged an annual fee and provided a Waste Facility Pass. If you choose not to pay this fee, unfortunately you will not be entitled to access the Shire’s waste services without being charged at commercial rates when using either facility.
Residents who own vacant land and wish to access our waste facilities and services can opt into this service. This years Passes are available from the gatehouse entrance of both Waste Management Facilities. Proof of property ownership and identification is required to obtain an annual pass, which runs on the rates year.
