The Shire of Northam has received an application to use land for the following purpose and public comments are invited.

Street: Spencers Brook Road

Proposal: Extractive Industry

The proposed extractive industry will involve campaign driven extraction of hard-rock material (extraction, drilling & blasting) at the site of a pre-existing quarry, to be transported to the Perth Metropolitan Region via Spencers Brook Road and Great Eastern Highway.

Details of the proposal are available for inspection at the Shire of Northam’s Administration Centre located at 395 Fitzgerald Street, Northam. The proposal can also be viewed by examining the attachments to this notice.

Comments on the proposal may be submitted to the Shire in writing on or before Close Of Business on the 4^th of April 2018.
