Notice is hereby given for public information that the Shire of Northam, at its Ordinary Council Meeting held on the 21^st August 2019, resolved to advertise the draft Local Planning Policy No. 26 – Container Deposit Infrastructure, for public comment in accordance with the provisions of Local Planning Scheme No 6.

This draft local planning policy has been developed to establish guidelines for the placement of Container Deposit Infrastructure within the Shire of Northam in conjunction with the WA State Government’s implementation of a Container Deposit Scheme (CDS).

Comments in relation to this Policy will be accepted by the Shire of Northam, in writing, until close of business on 4pm Friday 4^th October 2019.
