LOCAL PLANNING SCHEME AMENDMENT AVAILABLE FOR INSPECTION

SHIRE OF NORTHAM LOCAL PLANNING SCHEME NO.6

AMENDMENT NO.8

Notice is hereby given that the local government of the Shire of Northam has prepared the above-mentioned local planning scheme amendment for the following purpose:

• Introducing the following land use definitions into Schedule 1, Clause 2 of the Scheme: Repurposed dwelling and Second-hand dwelling;
• Inserting the land uses ‘repurposed dwelling’ and ‘second-hand dwelling’ into Table 1 (Zoning Table) of the Scheme; and
• Inserting additional provisions into Schedule A – Supplemental Provisions of the Scheme.

A document setting out and explaining the local planning scheme amendment is available for inspection at the Shire’s Administration Office, 395 Fitzgerald Street, Northam from Wednesday 10^th May 2017 for a period of 42 days until Wednesday 21^st June 2017. Submissions on the local planning scheme amendment may be made in writing and lodged with the Shire of Northam by Wednesday 21^st June 2017.
