Northam Town Centre Development and Connectivity Strategy (Closed)

The Shire of Northam has recently engaged TPG Place Match to develop the Northam Town Centre Development and Connectivity Strategy.

The main aim of the strategy is to create a more engaging and connected streetscape environment within the CBD of Northam.

The Strategy focuses primarily on:
• Revitalising streetscape spaces through infrastructure improvements;
• Activating and connecting key activity nodes within the town centre whilst maintaining the rich heritage character of Northam’s CBD which will enhance and promote Northam as a vibrant, attractive and welcoming town; and
• Identify key strategies to support economic development and community cultural and recreational opportunities within the activity nodes.

This strategy is a key element in the overall growth plan of Northam as a vibrant and liveable SuperTown and will contribute significantly towards achieving the vision and objectives set out in the Northam Regional Centre Growth Plan.

The Shire of Northam is seeking community feedback on this strategy which can be viewed here or hard copies can be collected from the Shire of Northam Administration Centre located at 395 Fitzgerald Street, Northam.

Submissions may be forwarded to the Shire of Northam no later than 5:00pm on Friday, 20th October 2017.
