NOTICE OF ADVERTISEMENT OF PLANNING PROPOSAL

Animal Husbandry Intensive – Free Range Broiler Poultry Farm

The local government has received an application to use and develop land for the following purpose and public comments are invited.

Lot No: Lot 13        Street: Northam-Cranbrook Road         Suburb: Muluckine

Proposal:

Animal Husbandry Intensive – Free Range Broiler Poultry Farm comprising of sixteen (16) sheds and ancillary facilities. A maximum total of 720,000 birds are proposed to be housed at any given time. 

Further details of the proposal are available for inspection at the Shire’s Administration Centre located at 395 Fitzgerald Street, Northam. Alternatively, details of the proposal can be viewed on the Shire’s website by accessing the links below. Comments on the proposal may be submitted to the local government in writing on or before the 27th day of April 2017.
