Proposed Disposal of Land pursuant to section 3.58(3) of the Local Government Act 1995 (Closed)

The Shire of Northam gives notice of its intent to dispose of the following land by public treaty, in accordance with section 3.58(3) of the Local Government Act 1995:

Lot 881 (239) Yilgarn Avenue, Malabaine:

The Shire of Northam intends to dispose of the abovementioned land to Procon Developments (Australia) Pty Ltd for the disposal price of $805,000 (ex GST) which is in accordance with the market valuation undertaken on 29th March 2018. The sale of property is conditional on the basis that a Development Application is to be submitted to the Shire of Northam within six (6) calendar months of executing the contract of sale.

Written submissions in respect of the proposed sale may be lodged with the Shire until 5:00pm, Wednesday, 12th September 2018. Submissions should be marked “Disposal of Land, Lot 881 (239) Yilgarn Avenue, Malabaine” and addressed to the Chief Executive Officer, Shire of Northam, PO Box 613, Northam, WA 6401 or emailed to: [email protected].
