Nominations are now open for inaugural inductees into the Northam Walk of Fame.
This prestigious program by the Shire of Northam aims to acknowledge and celebrate individuals who have made significant contributions to our community. It offers a unique opportunity for these exceptional individuals to be recognised as inductees into the 'Walk of Fame' along the Avon River.
By highlighting their outstanding achievements, this initiative not only honours their dedication and hard work but also serves as a powerful source of inspiration for others within our community.
- You may submit as many nominations for consideration as you wish.
- Each nomination should be lodged as a new submission; any submissions containing multiple nominations will not be counted.
- Nominations will be sought on an annual basis, and any nominations not selected for inclusion this year will need to be re-submitted as a new nomination when nominations re-open next year.
- As the Walk of Fame is a new initiative for 2025, we will be inducting a higher number of people or groups this year than in following years.
Both posthumous nominations and nominations for living persons will be considered.
The Shire of Northam Recognition of High Achievers Policy can be found here.
