LOCAL PLANNING POLICY NO. 27 – TREE RETENTION
 
LOCAL PLANNING SCHEME NO. 6
 
Notice is hereby given for public information that the Shire of Northam, at its Ordinary Council Meeting held on the 20 November 2024, resolved to advertise the draft Local Planning Policy No. 27 – Tree Retention, for public comment in accordance with the provisions of Local Planning Scheme No. 6.
 
This draft local planning policy has been developed to establish guidelines for the retention of existing significant trees in the Shire. 
 
A copy of the draft policy can be viewed at the Shire of Northam Administration Offices located at 395 Fitzgerald Street, Northam and attached to this public notice.
 
Comments in relation to this Policy will be accepted by the Shire of Northam, in writing only, until close of business on 4pm Friday 3 January 2024.
